John McKinzie

Lead Pastor

John started Hope in 2000 with just a handful of people and a desire to create a church in Frisco that people could bring their friends to.

Now, Hope has become one church in three locations with a heart for people in greater north Dallas!

The Mission of Hope Fellowship

We live to see those far from God cross the line of faith in Jesus and move closer to the center of God’s will for their lives! In our experience, it’s the best way to live at peace with the people and the world around us.

People matter to God, so they matter to us.

You matter. We believe that with all our hearts.

That’s why every programming decision is filtered through that lens at Hope. It’s our vision for a better future for us and for you.

The people at Hope live out this vision by Loving God with all their heart, Connecting with others, Growing in their faith, and Serving the world around them. Here’s why these principles are so valuable to us at Hope...

Love God with All Your Heart (Mark 12:29-31)

Regardless of where you are in your walk of faith, at Hope is a safe environment for all people to express their love to God. People are welcomed as they are, even if you're still exploring faith in Jesus. We want you to simply come and experience how much you matter to God and to us.

Connect with Others (Acts 2:42)

The love of Christ is extended through relationship. No matter what you’re in or coming out of, there’s someone here that can relate. The environments here allow you to build friendships and connect with others that is authentic and encouraging.

Grow in Your Faith (Ephesians 1:17)

Some grow best through community and discussion while others grow through study and reflection. Both are ways that God has uniquely created people to grow. Whatever your preference, there’s room at the table for the way you’re wired. Find your people and get started.

Serve the World Around You (Romans 7:4)

It’s natural to want to give back to the world around you and try to make it a better place. The motivation behind kindness is just as important as the act itself. God has gifted you to serve within the church, the community and the world somewhere and in some way that only you can. People matter to God and there are lots of opportunities each year for you to let them know!
